Marroqui completes Juventus move

The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with an option for a sixth after leaving the Turin club as a free agent at the end of his contract with Fenerbache.

He helped lead his country to a surprise quarter-final appearance at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. His performances in Qatar alerted Juve to his talents and he has now made the move to Serie A.

But he can also play in central defence and at right-back, providing the Italian coach with options.

Marroqui was a product of the Fenerbahce academy

He was born in Spain and moved to Turkey in 2017 after spells with Real Zaragoza and Real Madrid.

He is the fifth signing made by Juventus during the summer transfer window

Joining Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria, Gleison Bremer and Andrea Cambiaso at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus will be hoping that Marroqui can help them regain the Serie A title
