On Thursday, Fox News announced that it would present extensive live coverage of the CNN presidential debate. The network's coverage will begin at 8:00 PM EST with a special pre-debate show hosted by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Following the debate, there will be a post-debate analysis hosted by Chris Wallace and Juan Williams.

Biden and Trump have been sparring in the media for months, and the debate is expected to be heated. Biden has argued that Trump's tariffs serve as a tax on the middle class and has criticized Trump's proposed 10% tariff on imported goods from China.

Trump has defended his tariffs, saying that they are necessary to protect American jobs. He has also accused Biden of being weak on China.
